Quartz variety Amethyst on Smokey Quartz.  This is a twin crystal of Amethyst perched on a spray of Smokey Quartz.  It is more rare for Scepters to form on matrix and this perfect specimen has quite a dramatic display.  Gem crystals of Amethyst crown the showy Quartz arrangement to make for a very showy presentation.
